There's alot of emulators and Keep Alive reset devices for those that live in emissions states, but those are for diesel trucks here in the US, not sure about Audi/Volkswagen, hope that helps. i'm sure some one could make coding to mimic those parameters, but thats alot of work. If all they do is a sniff test at the tailpipe and you put all the emissions stuff back on, i don't see why that wouldn't work, but i'm not sure, would probably depend on how advanced the machine was doing the test, don't think anyone here could answer that. When you reflash/remap the PCM, its going to erase coding in the emissions files, thats gonna raise some red flags. Your issue is gonna be if they plug into the OBD2 connector to perform an emissions test.

I've done alot of full deletes here in the US, most US states don't have any emissions and inspection requirements, but those states that still do have inspection tests where they just do a visual inspection, people just gut the DPF out and put it back on, same for the EGR (weld thick metal pucks inside both sides and reinstall) and urea system.
